Addison Gilbert Hospital Equipment Upgrades

Description

A 500 ton centrifugal chiller and 60,000cfm air handling unit replacement servicing Emergency Room, ICU Rooms and Cancer Center. Project included installation of (2) temporary roof top units and duct to provide continuous conditioned air for the hospital’s operational services. The new air handling unit was rigged and assembled in (6) sections totaling over 65,000lbs including a chilled water and steam piping vestibule. The start-up and commissioning of the new unit was scheduled and completed before temporary units were taken offline. The transition from temporary equipment to the new air handling unit was completed in (1) twelve-hour shift that allowed the hospital to maintain operation without significant disruption.
